over 1200 years in age, the Kedarnath temple opens it’s ways to travellers from
April to September. At a height of 11,657 ft, the Kedarnath Yatra is both a

you have been called. The path to this beautiful place of worship slowly
ascends as you greet numerous travelers like you.

closer on the kedarnath trip - the Keadardome peak. The temple sits just below

rectangular slab of stone - and that’s it. Explore it and pay your respects to
the mountains and Lord Shiva, a dream come true for many many aspirant
visitors.
It is said that the Pandavas
went on to build the Kedarnath shrine. You can see their references in the
carvings on the exterior walls of the mandir. Adi Shankara later went on to
build a bit more around the temple. Legends say that the Pandava brothers
seeked lord Shiva in repentance for having massacred their own kin. Shiva, not
willing to forgive their sins, hid himself in Guptkashi. As you make your way
to Guptkashi, you’ll pass through Devprayag and Rudraprayag, which offers
