The Saptrishi Pass Trek begins when you arrive in Rishikesh. Meet with our representative and take a cab to Joshimath. On the way, you will be passing through 3 major confluences of Hindu mythology- Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Karnaprayag. Check into your hotel and enjoy a sightseeing tour in the local market. After you've finished your supper, relax and rest for the day.

The following day, have breakfast and drive to Govindghat. The hiking part of the trek begins here. Journey to Ghangaria, travelling along the beautiful river and passing by Hemkund Sahib Pilgrims. There are several real traditional dhabas along the path where you may rest and eat delicious food. Arrive at Ghangaria, check into your hotel, and unwind.

Wake up to an exciting morning, have your breakfast and move towards Advanced Base Camp (ABC). The trek route is mostly ascending, passing through some boulder sections and forest as well. And before you reach the Saptrishi Pass, enjoy a thrilling walkthrough over glacial moraines. After spending enough time at the pass, start to trek down to Camp 2.

Day 1: Rishikesh to Joshimath

  • Arrive in Rishikesh early in the morning, meet our team representative and board the sharing cab from Rishikesh to Joshimath.
  • During the journey you will cross Devparyag, Rudraparyag and the Karnaparyag.
  • Reach Joshimath in the evening, check in the property and visit the local market on your own.
  • In the evening have your dinner and retire for the day.

 

Day 2: Joshimath to Ghangaria

 

Drive: 19 km

Trek: 9 km

Meal: Breakfast + Dinner

Stay: Stay in a hotel on a sharing basis.

  • Wake up to a fresh morning, have your breakfast and prepare for a short drive to Govindghat.
  • Post reaching Govindghat, start your trek to Ghangaria.
  • The initial trail is mostly motorable and you might see a few Sikh pilgrims making their way to the Hemkund Sahib. But the best thing is that the route also has several authentic traditional dhabas that serve amazing food.
  • Till halfway, you will trek along the charming river and then will cross over to reach the destination for today.
  • After you have reached Ghangaria, check-in with the hotel and relax.
  • Enjoy your time at the market and have your dinner and retire for the day.

 

Day 3: Ghangaria to ABC

 

Trek: 9 km

Meal: Breakfast - Lunch - Evening Snacks + Dinner

Stay: Stay in tents on a sharing basis

  • Wake up to an exciting morning, have your breakfast and move towards ABC.
  • The trek route will pass through some boulders, and you will cross forest sections.
  • 3 hours into the trek, you will move above the treeline.
  • Reach ABC, pitch your tents and with hot meals retire for the day.

 

Day 4: ABC to Camp 2, via Pass

Trek: 9 km

Meal: Breakfast: Lunch - Evening Snacks + Dinner

Stay: Stay in tents on a sharing basis

  • Wake up to a fresh morning, have breakfast and start the adventurous day to pass.
  • The trek route is mostly ascending, you will be walking over the glacial moraines.
  • Reach the pass and have magnificent views of xxx peaks.
  • After spending enough time at the pass, start to trek down to Camp 2.
  • Pitch tents for the day and with hot meals retire from the day.

 

Day 5: Camp 2 to Ghangaria via Valley Of Flowers

Trek: 14 km

Meal: Breakfast - Lunch - Evening Snacks + Dinner

Stay: Stay in a guest house on a sharing basis.

  • Have your breakfast and start your trek to Ghangaria while passing through Valley Of Flowers.
  • The descent route via Valley Of Flowers is very majestic, passing through different flowers.
  • After spending enough time at Valley Of Flowers, head back to Ghangaria.
  • End your tiring day at Ghangaria with hot meals in a guest house.

 

Day 6: Ghangaria to Govindghat Via Poolna

 

Drive: 4 km

Trek: 9 km

Altitude: 9,600 ft.

  • It's time to say goodbye to Ghangaria. Wake up and get ready to trek back to Govindghat. After you have savored your breakfast, hop in with the group, and start.
  • The route remains almost the same. Enjoy walking through beautiful meadows and blooming flowers.
  • On this route, you will also find a lot of authentic dhabas where you can stop once in a while and taste some local cuisine food.
  • After you have reached the Govindghat, settle in your guest house. You will be served your hot dinner after the evening falls.

 

Day 7: Govindghat to Rishikesh

 

Drive: 270 km (10 Hours)

Meals Included: Breakfast

  • Wake up fresh in the morning. Have your breakfast and get ready to drive back to Rishikesh.
  • Though the drive is fairly long, in case you wish to stop in between to eat some food, we will be happy to serve you.

3. Any additional cost incurred due to changes in Government Guidelines related to travel/trek/COVID-19 will be borne by the Guest.

1. If cancellations are made 26 days prior to the start date of your trek/tour/activity, no cancellation fee will be charged.

2. If cancellations are made between 8-25 days prior to the start date of your trek/tour/activity, 25% of the total package amount will be charged as cancellation fee.

3. If cancellations and rescheduling are made within 7 days from the start date of your trek/tour/activity, 100% of the total booking amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.

4. Guest can reschedule the tour/trek/activity between 8-25 days prior to the start date of your trek/tour/activity (Depending on the availability), after this period no rescheduling can be done and no amount can be refunded.   

5. Rescheduling of the tour/trek/activity is applicable only once, after that if you want to cancel or reschedule the trek/tour/activity again, it will not be possible and no refund will be processed. 

6. If you book the tour/trek/activity by making a partial payment of the total booking amount and fail to make the 100% payment before 26 days from the date of travel. In this case, your booking will get canceled automatically and can only be reconfirmed once you make the full payment, depending on the availability of slots.

7. In case if your tour/trek/activity remains incomplete or uninitiated because of "force majeure", medical emergency, government policy changes, local strikes, or by personal choice after you arrive at the starting point, you will not be able to get a refund, reschedule or replace any services that remain underutilized by you.

8. In case if your tour/trek/activity gets cancelled because of "force majeure", medical emergency, government policy changes, local strikes between 0-7 days from your date of travel, you will be eligible to reschedule the date of your trek/tour/activity or you can get a credit note of the amount paid, however no cash refund will be possible in this case.

9. Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.

10. The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.
