How to reach Nainital
Nainital is a beautiful hill station situated in the serene background of the Himalayan foothills. The Naini Lake, Snow View, and the sacred Naina Devi Temple are the places to visit in Nainital. The ideal time to visit Nainital is from March to June and again from September to November. By Rail: Kathgodam Railway Station is the nearest railway station to Nainital( approx 34 km). Kathgodam is well-connected to major cities like Delhi, Lucknow, and Kolkata. After arriving at the railway station book a taxi or take shared cabs. Buses also ply regularly.
By Bus: Nainital is well-connected by road to various cities in North India, especially from Delhi (approx 300 km). Numerous private and Government operators offer bus services. The journey takes approximately 7-8 hours. Regular bus services are also available from nearby cities like Haldwani, Kathgodam, and Rudrapur.
